Buffet & restaurants "Krystal"
In general: I am a travel agent apprentice, I was sent to appraise the newly renovated Riu, Paradise Island. I must say I was blown away by the buffet! From breakfast to dinner absolutely delish! You must try the Krystal restaurant. Avoid the so called steak house as well as the India restaurant. The Japanese was mediocre but palatable. There is a problem w/no reservations, you have to stand on line at the really good restaurants. The pools were fun w/bar included. Service exceptional! Cleanliness exceptional! 5 minutes from Atlantis! Location and surroundings: At first not to happy. But on day 2 I was part of the party. Fun for 55 & over as well as 19 & over! Can't say why but it just worked. The beach can't be beat! The water was beautiful & the angel fish swimming, around us made it magical! You have to bring bread to the beach & feed the angels. Service: Exceptional! Dining: Best buffet I have ever had at an all inclusive! Sports and leisure: Mostly leasure. There is jet skiing offered by outside vendors (chew them down). Room: Very clean. Useful tips: Definitely eat at Krystal, the Lobster risotto is to die for!
